These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Tendro website, mobile applications, and related services (the “Service”) operated by Tendro Inc. (“Tendro,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.
1. Overview of the Service
Tendro provides a universal lead capture and scanning service that allows users to scan event badges, business cards, QR codes, and notes, enrich contact information, and sync leads into selected CRM or marketing systems.
Your use of the Service is subject to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
3. Account Registration
You agree to:
Provide accurate information
Protect your login credentials
Be responsible for all activity under your account
4. Acceptable Use
You may not:
Use the Service unlawfully
Collect or scan information without authorization
Scan government IDs without permission
Interfere with the Service
Reverse engineer or copy the Service
Build a competing product
Upload malware
5. Customer Data
“Customer Data” includes information you upload or scan.
You retain ownership. You represent that Customer Data does not contain:
Financial account numbers
Payment card data
Medical or health information
Biometric data
Data about children under 16
Social security numbers, passports, driver’s licenses, or similar identifiers
Any data classified as “sensitive” under applicable law
5A. Data Protection and Privacy
You are responsible for:
Complying with privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
Obtaining lawful bases for collecting personal data
Providing required privacy notices
Responding to data subject requests
Tendro processes Customer Data as a service provider or processor.
You may not collect data unlawfully, including unauthorized scanning of IDs.
6. Data Retention, Export, and Deletion
Customer Data may be exported for 30 days after account closure
Deleted from active systems within 90 days
Backups deleted through normal rotation
6A. Data Enrichment
The Service may enhance Customer Data using third-party providers.
Enriched data is provided “as is”
You are responsible for verifying accuracy
Some data may come from public or third-party databases subject to their terms
7. Fees and Payment
Fees are billed in advance and may renew automatically.
8. Third-Party Services
Integrations may rely on third-party services. Tendro is not responsible for their performance or availability.
9. Intellectual Property
Tendro owns all rights in the Service. Feedback may be used without restriction.
10. Confidentiality
Both parties agree to protect confidential information with reasonable care.
11. Service Availability and Changes
Tendro may update or discontinue features.
Notice will be provided when changes materially reduce paid functionality, except for:
Beta features
Free tiers
Experimental features
Integrations dependent on third parties
Backups are maintained but not guaranteed.
12. Beta Features
Beta features may change or be removed and are provided “as is.”
13. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.”
14. Limitation of Liability
Tendro’s total liability will not exceed the greater of:
Fees paid in the last 12 months, or
USD $100
15. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify Tendro for claims arising from your use of the Service or Customer Data.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms; continued use constitutes acceptance.
17. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by Delaware law.
