§ 01 · The pick

Tendro vs Vendelux: which should you pick?

Pick Tendro for questions on each lead, a matched rep as owner, Salesforce sync. Pick Vendelux if free HubSpot scans with tags and notes are enough.

Pick Tendro if

  • Your reps ask qualifying questions. The rep answers them at the booth and the answers land on the CRM record.
  • Each lead needs an owner. The first rep who matches one of your HubSpot or Salesforce users by email; with no match, the owner stays as it is.
  • You sync to Salesforce. Every $499 event includes native Salesforce sync: a Lead with a completed Task.

Pick Vendelux if

  • A Hot/Warm/Cold tag is enough. The free scanner tags each lead, flags it for follow-up and syncs it to HubSpot.
  • You already use Vendelux's platform. Its Starter plan lists "Access to the lead scanner app".
  • You want event discovery for your leads. Its scanner page: "see where people you follow or scan are planning to attend".

The record decides it. For $499 a show, Tendro puts the answers, tag and voice note on one Contact or Lead, with the matched rep as owner. Vendelux writes a HubSpot Contact into an event segment with your note; its owner is "Never set".

Vendelux, per its HubSpot help article and scanner page

  • A Contact: name, title, company, email, phone. If that email already exists, Vendelux matches it and leaves its existing properties as they are.
  • An event segment and a timeline note. A static segment named "Vendelux {event name}", plus a note with your typed note and voice transcript.
  • Contact owner: "Never set". By design, so it does not interfere with your own assignment rules. Salesforce sync: "in the works and will be ready in 2026".
  • CSV export for every event. "From the leads tab you can export any event's leads as a CSV, sent straight to your email inbox."

Test both the same way: scan a contact that already exists in your CRM and watch whether the record merges or forks. Before you pay, a 15-minute demo shows a badge landing in HubSpot or Salesforce with its note.

§ 05 · Switching

Can you switch from Vendelux to Tendro mid-season?

Yes. Tendro is bought per show, so you can start with your next one. Vendelux's scanner has no contract; export each event's leads as a CSV first.

Next show
Buy it at checkout and the whole team scans on their own phones, each with a free digital card.
Vendelux's term
None for the scanner: a free account with "no seat minimum, no cap on scans, and no per-lead fee", so there is nothing to cancel. The paid Vendelux platform is a separate purchase.
Your data
Export each event first: "From the leads tab you can export any event's leads as a CSV, sent straight to your email inbox." Disconnecting HubSpot removes nothing already written there, and "Deleting your account removes your leads from the app."
